The Exynos series from Samsung has been available for quite some time. Although the chip has not achieved the kind of success in the high-end market that the company had anticipated, it continues to play a crucial role in the company’s operations. Not to mention, the Exynos 2400 has the potential to change things for the corporation and restore its intended glory.
But it seems like Exynos is getting a makeover. According to a well-known leaker, Samsung is planning to rebrand Exynos as Dream Chip. Rebranding is necessary after a lengthy period, however, the new name is quite confusing. For the time being, at least, it is only a name; when the business introduces other variants, it will inevitably add numbers.

Aside from the name practice, this is a common idea in the tech industry. The insider has also stated that this is a rebranding, thus going forward, Samsung’s chipsets will be known as Dream Chip rather than Exynos. This happens very often. This was something we saw Qualcomm accomplish with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 following the Snapdragon 888, and now it seems to be implemented everywhere.
We don’t know much about Samsung’s upcoming Dream Chip at the moment, but I genuinely think this change—given its magnitude—should have occurred before the Exynos 2400’s introduction. This is particularly true when considering how much depends on the new chipset. The corporation needs a victory badly after suffering huge backlash in the past due to similar problems and poor performance.

Moore’s Law has dropped hints that a new portable console could hit Japanese shelves as a handheld alternative. While that release might happen as soon as two years from now, there’s always a chance it could take longer if given the green light.
A new PlayStation portable may seem unlikely, but a lot has occurred in the gaming industry since the PlayStation Vita’s release. Given the success of competing systems like the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, it would not be unexpected for Sony to return to the market with a system that may outperform the Vita thanks to its compatibility with traditional console titles. Take everything with a grain of salt for the time being; we won’t know if Vita will reintroduce meaning until we have formal confirmation.
