Epic Games has announced that weapon customization is finally coming to Fortnite in the next season. This feature, long-awaited by players who prefer realistic gameplay in FPS shooters and battle royale, has generated excitement.
While not much information about weapon customization in Fortnite has been revealed, a brief animation on X (formerly Twitter ) showcased a rifle being customized in a Call of Duty fashion, featuring a suppressor, foregrip, ACOG sight, and drum mag.

It will be interesting to see how this impacts the meta and game balance. Implementing this across Fortnite while maintaining game balance will be a tough task for Epic Games. However, limiting this feature to a separate mode is understandable and maybe the route Epic takes to introduce this highly anticipated feature.
Keep in mind that these are all speculations, and only time will reveal Epic Games’ plans. Nevertheless, this will be a treat for gamers who love ultimate control over their weapons in the battleground.
